Why use a tweet screenshot tool instead of taking a screenshot myself?+

What themes are available?+

Three native X themes — Light (default white), Dim (X's deep blue dark mode) and Pure Black (the OLED-friendly true black mode). Pick the one your audience expects to see.

Can I add a colored background?+

Yes. Pick from six backgrounds — transparent, white, black, blue gradient, purple gradient, and sunset gradient. The gradients automatically add padding for a polished poster look, ideal for Instagram and LinkedIn.

Can I hide likes and reply counts?+

Yes. Toggle "Hide stats" if you want to remove the engagement metrics. Useful for screenshots taken right after posting or when the numbers are not the point of the share.

What format does it export?+

PNG at 2x retina resolution — crisp on any display, ready for high-DPI screens and print. Roughly 1200×800 px for a tweet of average length.

Does the image include the original URL?+

Yes. A small caption at the bottom shows the truncated original URL and an XTapDown reference. This makes the screenshot citable and verifiable.

Can I screenshot multi-image tweets?+

Yes — up to 4 images are rendered in the same grid layout X uses natively.

Is it free?+
