Paste tweet URL → save individually or as ZIP
X Image Downloader — FAQ
How do I download images from a tweet?+
Copy the tweet URL (Share → Copy Link in the X app, or grab it from the browser address bar), paste it above, and click Fetch Tweet. For tweets with multiple images, you'll see a "Download all as ZIP" button plus individual "Image 1", "Image 2", … buttons.
What resolution do I get?+
Original resolution. X stores images in the size the uploader posted — usually 1080p or higher for modern devices, and we deliver that exact file. No recompression, no quality loss.
Can I download all images from a 4-image tweet at once?+
Yes. For tweets with 2–4 images, click "Download all as N images (ZIP)" — you get a single .zip containing each image as a separate .jpg, named with the tweet ID and image position. Faster than downloading them one by one.
Does it work on iPhone?+
Yes. Open Safari, paste the tweet URL, and the file lands in the Files app under Downloads (single image as .jpg, multi-image tweets as a .zip). Safari shows a download icon in the address bar — tap it to jump straight to the file. Long-press a .jpg in Files → Share → Save Image to put it in Photos; long-press the .zip first to extract.
Does it work on Android?+
Yes. Chrome, Firefox or any browser. ZIP saves to your Downloads folder; use a file manager (or the built-in Files app) to extract.
Why don't the images have watermarks?+
X doesn't watermark images. We deliver the original file the uploader posted — no overlays, no compression, no logos.
Can I download images from private or protected accounts?+
No. We can only fetch publicly visible tweets via X's public syndication endpoint. Private tweets, locked accounts, and deleted posts are inaccessible.
What about GIFs and videos?+
For GIFs use the GIF Downloader. For videos use the Video Downloader. This page focuses on still photos (JPG/PNG tweets).
Is it free?+
Yes — completely free, no account, no daily limit. All processing happens server-side via a stateless proxy; we don't store anything you download.
